Had a lovely weekend where we did the weddings of two sisters of past brides. For one I was up in San Luis Obispo doing Lauren’s wedding at a ranch house, Lauren is local from Laguna Beach but from the first meeting we had she said she wanted a ranch and after two trips up there, we had the right ranch and a group of nice vendors local to that area, and then on with the planning/details we went. I have a blog coming soon on that one as it really deserves an entry of it’s own.
While I was in central CA, Teri was doing the wedding of Jennifer at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach. I had done her sister’s wedding at the St Regis last year, and this was just the nicest family, and it was an honor to be thought of again to help with this wedding. Teri had worked with me on a Hotel Maya wedding last year, so was very familiar with the property so this was a piece of cake for her.
I had blogged on Katie’s wedding here last year, it was a night wedding and the views from the banquet room looking to the skyline of the city of Long Beach from daylight, thru dusk, into lights/buildings at night, was really spectacular, for Jennifer’s wedding it was daytime, so the guests got to look to the city skyline from ceremony through to the end of dancing. This is a great banquet room not only due to the view but because the windows open all the way and 1/2 the room is completely open to the balcony, I just love it. This Hotel has got a cool vibe to it along with a Mayan theme. Jennifer used the same vendors as her sister (including us), but a total different look/feel/celebration – so never be worried about using the same vendors as a friend/family member did even if using the same venue, a totally different look/feel can be created for the same guests to experience.
It was great to work with Eileen from the office and the banquet team at the Maya again.

ou pulled together the most beautiful wedding in less than two weeks. People who attended our wedding still comment on it being the prettiest they’ve ever been to.
I just can’t imagine how the date could go through smoothly without you, you were amazing. Going through the whole process with you was a great life experience.
Thank you for making my wedding perfect. Everything went really well and I was able to really enjoy it. My guests are still complimenting me on how nice everything was. Everyone kept commenting on how calm I was and that is because I had you to take care of everything.
What a pleasure it was to work with you on our wedding. You are very focused and amaze us with all that you do. Thank you for making our day flawless.
You are a great woman and a wedding co-ordinator ‘extraordinaire’. We are blessed and honored to have you as our co-ordinator.
